best day of my life

I guess for those of you who work in ICX will know how I feel. I spent 3 months trying to match this TN and finally after I matched it the SN said he couldn't come before August, so the company was like no he needs to come earlier bla bla bla and then finally the said yes. So yay I was very happy and couldn't wait to see him. After all the small problems that we had I finally have a match. I was soo happy and was counting the days. And right before he was coming, I found an email from the CEO sorry we can't accept him in the company.. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.. oh ok, so should I reply as no don't worry, no problem?? After long discussions and arguing and fighting the company finally accepted him again. So now comes the visa, he couldn't get his visa for like 2 weeks and honestly I lost hope but 2 days ago he emailed me he finally got it and now just today he's here in egypt. It feels soo good to have him hear, it's like a dream that came true and i still can't believe myself!!! It feels like victory and success and yes it feels good. I'm so happy

Welcome to Egypt and hope you'd have the best experience here

stem cells from embryos ethical or not? When would you do it?

This is what I love about friends... I love it when someone starts challenging me on things and plays the "Devil's Advocate :-)"... about 2 months ago this is what they challenged me on (try to think with me):

Is it ethical or not, would you do it or not and when??

Scientists have discovered that embryo cells can cure any kinds of adults diseases. However, the embryo dies after taking his cells and tissues. It's called Stem Cells.

What makes stem cells different from other cells?
Stem cells are cells that do not have a specific gene code to be an exact cell. For instance, heart muscle cells have a specific purpose, which is to provide functions for the heart. Stem cells do not have the code to be any specific type of cell. Stem cells, however, have all of the genes that the other cells do, but their genes are activated for a primary purpose of mitosis without a specialized tissue function.

So again how does it work?
Stem cells are cells within early embryos prior to implantation in the uterus that have the potential to create tissues which can be given to patients whose own tissues are missing or diseased. Scientists argue that embryos in a petri dish are more likely to die than become indisputably persons by being born---even if they are transferred to a woman’s body for gestation. The great majority are non-viable, which means that they will die in a short time no matter what efforts are made to sustain their development.

So, would you do it or not? I'm sure most of us would say no I wouldn't kill an embryo that will soon develop to a person, but what if you're killing this embryo to save the parent (father or mother) what would you choose a child without 1 parent or good healthy parents that can have kids again?

After a long long thinking even till now I would say no the embryo should live. I believe we'll all die soon. I could save my husband and sacrifice my babe and be pregnant again and my husband would die in a car accident!! Then what??! Or he could die during the OP itself. I can never predict the futur but yes if this is GOD's will that this person should die then no one can stop him. For me I would say it's Haram.

Wow, it took me that long to come up with this conclusion:-)

Wait for more

The Axe Effect..hehehe

Good Job with the Advertisment

Now that's a good one

Yaiiii Ramadan coming soon - Fasting

Fasting is the fourth pillar of Islam. It entails abstaining from food, drink, and sexual intercourse from dawn until sunset with the intention of attaining nearness to Allah. It is obligatory every day throughout the lunar month of Ramadan.

The effects of fasting:

1. It develops willpower: In this way, it trains the Muslim to rise up to the challenges of life. It gives the individual the ability to control his or her desires. It teaches patience; because the fasting person must give up pleasures that he or she is normally accustomed to enjoying.

2. Fasting is a way of recognizing the blessings of Allah that surround the individual: Most of the time, people forget these numerous blessings, never remembering them unless they are lost. Fasting provides a reminder of these blessings throughout the fasting person’s life.

3. Fasting reminds people of the suffering of those who are deprived, affording those who have means a glimpse of the hardships and hunger suffered by the poor. This makes the well off more likely to want to help the poor.

4. Fasting is healthy: It provides rest for the digestive system. It cultivates the habit of eating less. It also provides the body relief from the harmful habits the fasting person might have, like addiction to narcotics, stimulants, and possibly other forbidden things.
